Tripwire Interactive has announced the release of "Darkest Hour: 1944-45", a free total conversion mod that brings the Americans into the game and focuses on the battles at beaches of Normandy.
"Darkest Hour is free to all those who own Red Orchestra and can be simply downloaded and installed through Steam. Darkest Hour finally brings the Americans to Red Orchestra, focusing on the beaches of Normandy, Operation Market-Garden, the Battle of the Bulge and on into the Reich. Featuring airborne parachute drops and late war German and Allied tanks Darkest Hour brings an all new style of gameplay to Red Orchestra.
